Digital Software Services Inc. was founded with a simple mission: make propane companies safer, more efficient, and protected from litigation. Over 30 years, we've built TankSpotter from the ground up with direct input from propane company owners, operations managers, and service technicians.
We're a veteran-owned business based in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. Our team understands the unique challenges of the propane industry — from NFPA compliance to field operations in areas without cell service. Every feature we build solves a real problem that propane companies face every day.
Today, TankSpotter includes 65+ modules, is recommended by 4 major insurance companies, and has won the World LP Gas Association award for best propane safety technology. But we're still the same company that picks up the phone, listens to your needs, and builds the features you ask for.

Bill Stomp served as a Commander in the United States Navy before bringing military discipline, operational excellence, and mission-first thinking to the propane industry. With 23 years in propane and experience leading over 87 propane companies through digital transformation, Bill built TankSpotter with the same standards he learned in service: nothing gets overlooked, nothing gets forgotten, and every person goes home safe.
